| Photographer and UNHCR aid worker Helene Caux will exhibit her work in Washington, DC, at National Geographic Museum at Explorers Hall: “Surviving Darfur.” The exhibit portrays the humanitarian crisis in Sudan, with haunting images reflecting the plight of hundreds of thousands of refugees and displaced persons in the region. Caux’s work reveals the continued need for the world’s focus on this region. Photographer and UNHCR aid worker Helene Caux will exhibit her work in Washington, DC, at National Geographic Museum at Explorers Hall: “Surviving Darfur.” The exhibit portrays the humanitarian crisis in Sudan, with haunting images reflecting the plight of hundreds of thousands of refugees and displaced persons in the region. Caux’s work reveals the continued need for the world’s focus on this region. The exhibit will be on display from May 19 until July 17. On Thursday, June 16 at 7:00pm, Ms. Caux will present a lecture on her recent work in Chad and Sudan, with Craig Sanders, head of Sudan/Chad operations at UNHCR headquarters. Gilbert H.
